Meet Tara

Tara has been a part of The Grove since day one, working in the background and being the stabilizing backbone for what you see now. She helps with knotting beads, designing and creating bracelets (if you have one of our bracelets, Tara was the one to make it), and creating a lot of the digital design elements that you see before you. From the Distance Healing Boards, Grid Cloths, and this very website, Tara puts her magic touch on everything we create.

After feeling the energy of stones and witnessing their transformative work, she wanted to see if she could create pieces that could help her in other ways. Every piece felt like perfect timing for others as well and many of her personal designs became the Focused Journey Series. Talking about these bracelets at shows and guiding people find the one that would give the most help was super fun. It was a way for her to aid others into understanding their connection to the stones as well. Crystals hold so much power and the fact that we create these wearable pieces that can bring added relief to people is just so magical.

So where did Astrology fit into all of this. Tara used to be a Tattoo Artist and owned a local studio for 5 years. As a fun little connection to the other artist and clients, they all downloaded an astrology app on their phones to find their Sun, Moon, and Rising sign. She became enamored with what they found and how it just seemed to fit so well into all their personalities. 

Things finally started to make sense, like why we did this or that or the way we reacted to different things. It was like someone said, “Now you get to meet YOU.” We were so blown away by the information that we even started including it in our new artist and apprentice applications by asking for their Birthdate, Time and Location. We wanted to get a better idea of people’s zodiac framework and if they would be a good match with the rest of us.

Over the next few years, Tara dabbled in Astrology, picking up random books or looking up charts for friends and family. It became a fun side hobby and game of trying to figure out peoples Sun, Moon, and Rising sign before she looked it up.

When The Grove started to create the Zodiac Power Bracelets, Tara always found herself gravitating to that part of the table at events to see if she could guess customer’s Sun Sign at first meeting and then sharing little nuggets of Astro knowledge she had picked up along the way. It was one of her favorite parts of being at events because people’s faces and energy lit up when she got it right or told them a trait about themselves that hit close to home.

By the start of 2021, Tara finally decided to take the leap into really learning Astrology. She wanted to learn how to fully read Natal charts and beyond. She wanted to connect the pieces herself and follow her intuition about people’s energy. It was a long enlightening process and was more complicated than she originally thought but in learning new traits and aspects, she was able to fully connect to all these little cosmic symbols and how they fit together and mirror back to us who we are. 

It is still opening doors as she dives deeper into these studies and that is truly what she loves about it. The multi-dimensional layers of who all of us are. We are not just one thing, we are all things, put together in such a beautifully unique way. She feels that Astrology helps us see all the puzzle pieces make sense and paint a new, more colorful picture of a person even if I have known them for decades or a few minutes, there is always more to explore and learn.

Working with astrology has also helped in her own personal healing journey. Being able to read her birth chart and see why she has faced this obstacle of that one, or why she responds to things the way she does, has helped her to put into perspective the lessons that she is here to learn. These tools have aided in her healing process, and it is something she wants to show others how to do as well. 

Stepping out from behind the scenes of The Grove has been an interesting experience. And yet, fully connecting to Astrology and creating gemstone peices to help others unlock the map of their Natal Charts is a where she is supposed to be.
