Energy Grids
Energy Grids are an ally to healing work, energy work, or intention setting. We use these beautiful tools to amplify, cement, glorify, intend, heal, offer, and devote certain energy to the purpose we are using them for.
Any grid can be used for amplifying healing. Using crystals as a guide for the energy flow, you can create intricate designs or simply place the stones within the grid to activate and support your intentions.
The options are really endless for how you can use these tools. All you need is your intention/purpose and a few crystals and you can set up a grid. Even if you do not have a grid layout, you can place your stones into a design you made up and still be able to activate and access the energy that you are intending. It’s all about your intention so follow your intuition and create a grid that makes your heart sing.

We have also used Body layout grids for community and universal healing grids to send healing to the collective if there is a heaviness in the Universal Heart Space or other areas. No matter how you use grids, always set them up with a purpose or job. Laying crystals in a pattern can be gorgeous and bring so much joy but it can be even more powerful if you activate and connect the grid as well.
How I create Crystal Grids
I use a simple method to create and activate crystal grids:
Intend: When I am creating a grid for healing, I start by saying the intention “I am creating this grid for (person/intention/place/thing). I ask it to call in __________, __________, and __________ for (person/intention/place/thing)” When I state the intention before I start the grid, the healing and purpose start to flow while I place the stones. It can help Source Energy flow through me and into the grid to create the layout in a more purposeful way.
Create: I start a grid from the center and move out to make a circle of stones around it. I begin a larger stone in the middle of the grid. I usually use a Generator point (clear quartz point with a flat bottom and pointing straight up) or a larger gemstone for the center or what I call an Anchor for the grid. I then place stones, usually points or polished, in 3s or 6s around the grid, creating triangles or circles of energy around the center stone. I continue placing the stones in concentric circles around the grid until the energy feels right or I have used all the intended stones.
Connect: From here I reaffirm the intention that I used at the beginning of this process by hovering my hands over the stones and stating the intention again. Then I use another Clear Quartz point I use just for activating grids and holding it tip facing down, hover it over the center anchor stone. I then move the point to the stones closest to the center of the grid to “connect” them and hover them over those stones one by one and move the quartz point to hover over the center stone again. I “connect” all the stones in the grid together (hovering the point over each stone in a circular pattern). I see it like I am creating a spider web of golden energy cords between all of the stones which amplifies their energy together.
Activate: Once the grid is connected I hold my hands over the grid and send energy into the grid to activate it through my hands using Reiki Techniques (Reiki is not an energy, it is an Energy practice. If you do not know Reiki techniques, you can also call source energy to flow into the grid as well. Remember it’s all about intending energy to flow through you, you don’t have to know certain modalities to do this).
Sustain: Once the energy grid is activated, it is working for my intention. To keep the energy flowing and active, I send energy to it once a day or whenever I am near it. I sometimes re-connect and re-activate the stones as well.
This is just my method of using a Crystal Grid. Please use what you connect with and leave the rest. If you create grids differently, that is so beautiful because you are following your own path, intuition, and purpose. There are many other methods and processes to creating a crystal grid online and in books so please search online for other options if this one doesn’t resonate.
